Our Approach

The approach is a set of SOMA small, regular successes. Go gradual and notice the effects. This keeps your nervous system relaxed, not anxious as we believe is making changes to support your body for a lifetime.

We will start with one small change you can make right off the bat, all by yourself every week and sow that seed of change in your mind which is as fresh as the earthy soil right after a pleasant bout of rain and let the nourishing energy within you grow that seed of change into a lush green plant giving you fruits of health and happiness.

Overtime, these seeds of change will pay off in terms of feeling safe in your body, clear in your mind and connected to your spirit.

How it Works

Initial Session

An initial coaching session begins with a conversation regarding your health and wellbeing. Together we’ll assess your health history, diet, lifestyle habits, and your vision for well-being. We will define your core values. We will examine where you now are – where do you want to be – how do you get there.

If you opt for a Group Program,

  1. 5 weeks and 2 SOMA Wellness coaches to guide you through.
  2. We will dive deep into the 5 pillars of SOMA.
  3. Targeted approaches & strategies for self-care and habit change.
  4. There is group accountability to motivate you.
  5. Whatsapp/Facebook group support daily check ins.
  6. Free access to any SOMA workshop that takes place within the duration of the 21 Day Reset.
  7. Access to pre-recorded guided meditations by the SOMA coaches.

If you opt to Go Solo,

  1. A program tailored to your requirements with  a SOMA Wellness coach to guide you through.
  2. We will dive deep into the 5 pillars of SOMA.
  3. Targeted approaches & strategies for self-care and habit change.
  4. Whatsapp/Facebook group support daily check ins.
  5. Free access to any SOMA workshop that takes place within the duration of the 21 Day Reset.

The SOMA Pillars

Eat

In SOMA, we look at Eating as a ritual. We are often told we are what we Eat and hence we will look at food from both an Ayurvedic perspective and modern nutrition. But we believe it is not just about what you Eat. What you Eat matters, but how you Eat matters a lot more. We will share with you the fundamentals of Eating sense – the art of choosing what, when, how and how much you put in your stomach. We will go through how to marry your foods wisely, how to incorporate LEAN into the way we Eat.

Sleep

We keep demanding more and more from our body, from our mind, without ever thinking of giving it back. Sleep is a way to refuel your system back. In SOMA, we will show the why and how to reverse engineer your bedtime and how to improve your bedtime routine with nourishing habits that wind you down. We all know that getting beauty Sleep of 7 -8 hours daily can do wonders on how we look and feel. But as a culture we have given over importance to doing – not just doing multiple things but excelling in all of them. And because of that the society around us is burned out, exhausted and hence our immune system is shredding.

Move

About 80 to 100 years ago, people had to literally move to get things done. Physical work took priority as it was a need. Physical work all day long helped the body work efficiently. Cut scene to today – we are sitting more, watching more and the couch potato effect is definitely on the rise. And hence the deliberate need to Move. In SOMA, we will not just look at planning out fitness routines using the FITT principle but also bring about an awareness of how to consciously incorporate movement throughout the day, how to remain active despite work schedules and home schedules.

Breathe

The society we live in today is struggling with the epidemic of information overload. We’re all affected- emails, calls, messages, Instagram, podcasts, news or screen time. We have more data to consume than time. We are too wired and tired and hence it is so important to clear our mind and digest our experiences, our thoughts. Here in SOMA, we will help you tap into the power of sitting in silence, observing your Breath and how to incorporate deeper and more relaxed respiration into your everyday life – how to practice conscious Breathing anytime, even sitting at your desk or in your car.

Smile

Happiness is what every single person says he or she wants. But we are often not provided any education on how to obtain it or even how to define it. Ayurveda teaches us that happiness is easy when we possess svastha , a word meaning “to be established in the soul”. And reaching this state isn’t some mountain top experience where you attain enlightenment. It’s a result of moment by moment routines and habits we choose over a lifetime. We at SOMA will help you reflect on what brings you true joy and how to practice awake living, how to repair and replenish and be in tune with what you are feeling and listen to our body’s innate wisdom.

If you opt for a group program,

5 weeks. 1 hour x 11 live sessions + lifework at your own time

If you opt to go solo,

Generally, the time frame would range between 5-10 weeks as it will be tailor made to your needs. So the time frame depends on your goals and how much support you want.

Yes. The intention here is for the participants to go back to the sessions for details on the new tools learned. They will be available to participants until a month after the series closes. They will be recorded only for the participants and not for public use as there will be sensitive and vulnerable moments shared.

Group sessions will be interactive and engaging via Google Meet.

In case you opt to go solo, we can also meet you face to face if you live in Dubai or Bahrain.

Fees, once paid (in partial or full), can neither be refunded nor transferred.
